According to the sources, The health authorities recommended to seal 2 colleges in Islamabad immediately after the emergence of 10 new cases of COVID-19 among students and teachers.
As per to a report forwarded to the deputy commissioner (DC) Islamabad by the district health officer (DHO), 3 COVID-19 cases have been reported in Model College for Boys in Sector
10/1 while 7 others were emerged in Model College For Boys, located in F-7/3.
The district health officer (DHO) has instructed the Islamabad administration to seal both colleges until further orders.
It must be noted that, As per the National Dashboard of Pakistan, The total tally of coronavirus cases has elevated to 587,014 out of which 17,117 are active cases and 13,128 fatalities were reported till now.
The latest statistics from the national dashboard indicate that 1,559 patients remained in critical condition, while 556,769 patients recovered from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The country has recorded 1,579 new cases during the last 24 hours.
