13 more Schools have been closed by National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) in the last 24 hours for not following standard operating procedures (SOPs) designated to contain COVID-19 spread in the country.
As per to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 10 Schools have been closed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) while 3 were sealed in Sindh.
So far 35 educational institutions have been shut over failing to implement COVID-19 SOPs across the country.
It must be noted here that, National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) said that almost 22 schools have been sealed yesterday over neglecting standard operating procedures (SOPs) designed to control over COVID-19 spread.
As per to NCOC, The Educational institutions were sealed over failure to implement COVID-19 SOPs. The COVID-19 spread in the sealed educational institutions due to lack of arrangements by the management, NCOC added
The highest number of sealed educational institutions are in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), while 5 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 1 institutions was sealed in Islamabad, National Command and Operation Centre said
