As per details, The mass COVID-19 vaccination centres being established in the top 15 coronavirus affected cities of Pakistan.
The sources said that the cities where the government has planned to set up mass COVID-19 vaccination centres included Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Multan, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hyderabad, Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Abbottabad and Mansehra.
The local administration of Islamabad has decided to establish a mass COVID-19 vaccination centre at quarantine Islamabad Hospital and Infectious Treatment Centre (IHITC).
Almost 4000 people would be vaccinated against COVID-19 on daily basis at the Islamabad quarantine Hospital. The COVID-19 vaccination centre will have 40 counters, 9 observation beds, 18 big and 12 small rooms.
3 doctors and 6 nurses will perform duties in the Islamabad mass COVID-19 vaccination centre.
It must be noted that the National Command Operations Centre (NCOC) approved the establishment of the mass COVID-19 vaccination centres and had instructed the provinces to implement the decision.
