Taking Pakistan’s total toll to from 13 to 15 and the provincial tally to 3 of causalities, Today Karachi reported 2 new causalities from the novel coronavirus.
Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, Sindh Health and Population Minister told that 2 more citizens have lost their lifes from the novel coronavirus in Karachi.
“One of the patients was 83 years old while the other was 70 years old,” she said, adding that both patients had pneumonia and COVID-19.
“The cause of death in both cases was pneumonia along with Covid-19,” she added.
There are now 189 COVID-19 confirmed cases in the Karachi city, a total of 13 people have recovered in the metropolis and 170 people are under treatment.
According to the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Center, Pakistan’s count of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases elevated to 1526 as per today.
15 causalities from the deadly virus have been reported in the country, while 28 have made full recoveries after contracting coronavirus.
