After almost 6 months of closure of Educational Institutes reopening of schools brings approximately 34 students have tested positive for coronavirus during the past 3 days in Punjab.
Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department confirmed that 34 students have been diagnosed with the COVID-19 since the reopening of schools in Punjab.
Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department spokesperson said that 24 students were tested positive for coronavirus in Gujranwala, 7 in Nankana Sahib and 1 in Bhakkar.
The spokesperson of PSHD maintained that 2 staffers were also diagnosed with the COVID-19 in Lodhran and Bhakkar, He further added that the government sealed 2 educational institutions in Nankana Sahib after several coronavirus cases were reported there.
The spokesperson of PSHD also said that the authority disinfected all the educational institutions where the COVID-19 cases were reported.
The school will be closed for 5 days where 2 or more students tested positive for coronavirus, the PSHD spokesperson said
