The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan police claimed to kill 4 alleged terrorists during a raid in Mastung area of Balochistan.
As per to Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) officials, the law enforcement personnel surrounded a hideout of militants in the Mastung area and killed 4 terrorists after an exchange of fire.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Balochistan said that “2 CTD personnel also sustained injuries during the raid,” adding that they said explosive vests, weapons, and explosive material were also recovered during the raid.
Zia Lango, Home Minister Balochistan claimed that one of the terrorists killed in the encounter was identified as Abdul Rahim and had remained as a key commander of the banned organization Lashkar-e-Jhangvi.
The home minister said that “The slain terrorist was wanted by police and had a head money of Rs.2 million,”
Zia Lango further added that “We have already warned of a security threat in Balochistan,” adding that some of the arrested terrorists identified the group which was neutralized today.
