Following the successful Arabic dubbing of the popular Pakistan Television Network (PTV) drama Dhoop Kanare, ‘Tanhaiyan’ and ‘Aahat’ will also be aired in Saudi Arabia with Arabic dubbing.
According to media reports, in the year 2019, in order to strengthen the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, it was announced that Pakistani dramas would be dubbed in Arabic and broadcast in Saudi Arabia.
The announcement was made by the then Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry after his visit to Saudi Arabia as the beginning of a ‘cultural exchange program’ between Islamabad and Riyadh.

In the interview, he said, “It was an honor for me to serve as a translator for Muhammad bin Salman’s delegation.”
Lubna Farah also said that Muhammad bin Salman praised my translation and a member of the Saudi cabinet asked me if you were really an Arab, not a Pakistani, because I spoke in Arabic in a Saudi accent during the meeting.
