Government of Punjab has imposed smart lockdown in 8 more localities of Rawalpindi at 12:00 tuesday midnight in a bid to curb spread of COVID-19.
As per to sources, the district administration of Rawalpindi has received a notification from the Punjab government in this regard. The smart lockdown would continue till 9:00 pm on July 3.
The localities identified as hotspots of COVID-19 included Gulzar e Quaid, Khayaban-e-Sir Syed, Dhoke Ali Akbar, Kotha Kallan, Morgah, Takht Pari, Nankari Bazar and Bara Market.
