According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, The President Joe Biden’s administration has assured Pakistan of continued assistance for the common cause of peace in Afghanistan.
The ISPR said that, The development made during the meeting of Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa with Acting US Charge d’ Affairs to Pakistan Angela Aggeler.
As per Army’s media wing said that, General Qamar Javed Bajwa hoped that Pakistan-US bilateral ties will be further strengthened under the new Biden administration.
“Matters of mutual interest, including regional security situation, were discussed during the meeting,” ISPR said
The ISPR further added that, Angela Aggeler while assuring US’s continued assistance for the common cause of peace in Afghanistan, She lauded Pakistan’s contributions to conflict prevention in the region and the relentless support provided to Afghan Peace Process.
