Broadway and TV actor Nick Cordero, who spent months in ICU being treated for the COVID-19 and lost his leg from complications, died last day, He was 41 years old, his wife said.
Amanda Kloots wrote on Instagram that “My darling husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded in love by his family, singing and praying as he gently left this earth,”
She said that “I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere. My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him.”
She added, While referring to the their 1-year-old son, “Elvis and I will miss him in everything we do, everyday,”
She said Nick Cordero had battled the coronaviorus for 95 days, Kloots had documented her husband’s struggle with the COVID-19 on social media.
The Actor Nick Cordero was known for his roles in the musicals “Waitress,” “A Bronx Tale” and “Bullets Over Broadway,” for which he was nominated for a Tony award.
