The Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi stated on Monday that they have issued Visas to Hindu pilgrims to visit Katas Raj Temples in District Chakawal of Punjab Province.
Pakistan high commission stated that the group of hindu pilgrim will visit Katas Raj Temples also known as Qila katas Raj in Pakistan from 19 February to 25 February 2020.
Katas Raj temples are a religious place for Hindus.There is a pond alongside with temples which is considered sacred for hindus.
Back in 2019,a group of 88 hindu devotees also paid a visit to katas raj from December 13 to 19.
Both these visits are covered under the Pakistan-India Protocol on visit to religious shrines,1974.
Pakistan has also provided best facilities to sikh community by opening kartarpur corridor in November 2019 when Prime Minister Imran khan Inaugurated the project.
