An accountability court on Tuesday (March 5) sent PTI leader and former senior minister Aleem Khan to prison on 15-day judicial remand in offshore company and assets beyond means cases.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials produced the PTI leader before Accountability Court Judge Syed Najamul Hassan amid tight security on completion of his physical remand and requested further extension for investigation.
Punjab Local Government Minister, and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf leader Aleem were taken into custody by NAB on Wednesday (Feb 6) in cases pertaining to assets beyond means, offshore company, Park View Housing Society, River Age Housing Society, and Multan Road. NAB stated that during his 2005 and 2006 visit to UAE and UK, Aleem Khan made several offshore companies.
