A Pakistan Army soldier embraced martyrdom after Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing from across the Line of Control (LOC) in Hajipir sector of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.
According to ISPR Director General (DG) Major General Asif Ghafoor, 33-year-old Havaldar Nasir Hussain hailed from Narowal.
Earlier, a Pakistan Army officer on Thursday (Sep 12) embraced martyrdom after Indian Army resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling along the Line of Control (LOC), the Army’s media wing reported. As per reports, the martyred sepoy Ghulam Rasool was hailed from Bahawalnagar.
Tensions between both countries are running high since August 5, when BJP led Indian government revoked article 370 of the constitution which granted the special status to Kashmir.
