An anti-terrorism court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Aleem Khan during a hearing of the case pertaining to attack on Pakistan Television (PTV) and National Parliament.
The court has ordered that Aleem Khan be arrested and presented by 30 September.
The case was filed against many of PTI’s top tier leaders after the state-owned PTV and Parliament buildings were attacked during PTI’s sit-in of 2014.
Previously, Aleem Khan was arrested by the National Accountability Court and attended hearings in a case pertaining to allegedly amassing wealth beyond means.
