On Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed former Finance Minister Asad Umar as Economic Development Council (NDC) member.
Earlier in June, Primer Imran Khan approved National Development Council (NDC) and announced its members.
According to a notification, Prime Minister Imran will lead the council, while General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), has been appointed a member of the Economic Development Council (NDC).
Key government officials on the board include Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Prime Minister’s adviser Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, and Khusro Bakhtiar, Minister of Planning and Development.
Additional Secretary to PM’s office, Secretary Foreign Affairs Division, Secretary Finance Division, Secretary Planning, Development and Reforms were also included in the council, reads a notification.
