Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari protesting against Maryam Nawaz arrest by the NAB walked out from the joint session of the parliament on Thursday (August 8).
Bilawal Bhutto said that the government has arrested a woman belonging to opposition parties adding that once again dictatorial action is happening in the country. The PPP Chairman said Imran khan used to say that “I will do justice if came to power.” while he said that if the government wanted to the competition then it should compete with men and why it does arrest the woman.
Later, he along with other members walkout from the joint session of the parliament.On the other former President Asif Ali Zardari has also condemned the arrest of Maryam Nawaz by using strict words against Imran Khan led PTI government.
The National Accountability Court (NAB) has arrested Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz and Yousuf Abbas in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case. She was taken custody from outside the Kot Lakhpat Jail.
