Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and leader of opposition in National Assembly, Shehbaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan has become a main talk of the town after his shocking decision of major reshuffle in party. After the other PML-N leaders, former National Assembly Speaker and PML-N leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq on Sunday (May 5) has denied the reports that Shehbaz Sharif will not return to Pakistan.
While Speaking during an appearance on local news channel he said, “Shehbaz Sharif will return to Pakistan and if the Pakistan Peoples Party has an issue with the new chairman of the Public Accounts Committee then Shehbaz will continue as chairman.” When asked about circulating rumors of an alleged deal he said “Who is telling him [Imran Khan] to come up with a deal? Nobody asked him for a deal,” he said. “Niazi sahab should clearly tell us who he is asking for a deal. Those who Khan Sahab want to speak about a deal, he can do so in a closed room as well,” the PML-N leader said.
On the subject of prime minister’s statement in Iran, Sadiq said, “Was the prime minister’s statement given in Iran not a charge sheet against Pakistan? Article 6 should be imposed on the prime minister for this statement and his interview in the US newspaper.”
“If the concerned departments do not raise a question on the prime minister’s statement than it means it was given on their advice,” he said. “We do not want the government to be martyrs. They had said they will provide employment but now taking u-turns has become a norm for them,” Sadiq said.
