The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Monday (May 27) during the hearing of petition, seeking life time ban on Pashtoon Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leaders, from appearing on all mediums – print, electronic and social media, sought replies from the Ministry of Interior and other respondents in a petition seeking.
The petition also seeks to delete and block social media accounts of all three PTM members and bar them from hosting or appearing on any electronic and print medium. The court also issued notices to PTM leader Manzoor Pashteen and lawmakers Mohsin Javed and Ali Wazir. Presiding the hearing, Justice Amir Farooq directed all concerned institutions to that ensure all rules and regulations are implemented in the matter.
The hearing was subsequently adjourned until June 3.

Earlier an anti-terrorism court on Monday (May 27) granted an eight-day physical remand of the member parliament, Ali Wazir, for allegedly provoking the protestors to attack the security force’s check post in North Wazirastan.
