Last month, the court granted Brad Pitt shared custody of his children, ending his legal struggle with Angelina Jolie.
“He’s over the moon now,” a source said of Pitt’s reaction to Judge John Ouderkirk’s provisional ruling in May 2021.
According to court documents obtained by media outlets, Jolie’s evidence “lacked credibility in several crucial areas,” and the parties’ existing custody order “must be amended, per Mr. Pitt’s request, in the best interests of the children.”
Brad “feels like he’s finally received a fair opportunity in his years-long legal battle with Angie over the kids,” according to the insider, now that the “nightmare” of the custody battle “is behind him” for the time being. “All he ever wanted was a fair shot.”
According to the sources, “Brad is happier today than he has ever been.”
Pax, 17, Zahara, 16, Shiloh, 15, Knox, 12, and Vivienne, 12, are Pitt and Jolie’s children.
Maddox, the couple’s 18-year-old son, is also part of the family.
