Brie Larson, an actor from Hollywood, wears her heart on her sleeve after making her big YouTube debut about her personal and professional struggles.
The Captain Marvel star shared a video on her channel, revealing the reasons she’s jumping on the YouTube bandwagon and also opening up about her struggle with social anxiety.
“For me, it’s been my baseline, I’m an introvert with asthma. Like, that’s been my story for myself … I’m introverted, I ‘m scared, I’m socially anxious,” the 30-year-old actor in the Room said.
But, playing Captain Marvel in particular, it sort of wiped out those titles I had for myself and made me go, ‘Woah, I’m not really it anymore.’ And then, from there I realized that speaking out, sharing my story, talking about stuff I’m afraid of, has just helped me then much,” she continued.
She also talked about what kind of content she will share on her new channel, from using it as a means of “personally expressing herself” to “deep conversations, anti-racist rhetoric, and inclusive content.”
