In a controversial but interesting study, US experts claim that the use of cannabis, hashish and marijuana really increases performance, provided it is used at the right time. It should be noted that in addition to Canada and many US states, some European countries also have legal use of cannabis for people 18 years of age or older. Unlike other drugs, cannabis has a common perception that it does no harm to the drinker, while significantly increasing efficiency. However, this was just an assumption for which there was no concrete evidence.
In this context, the latest issue of the research journal “Group and Organization Management” published a joint study by experts from the University of San Diego, California and the University of Auburn, Alabama, in which they analyzed 281 cannabis users. It has since been proven that the performance of cannabis smokers “really” increases.
However, the increase in performance from cannabis was seen only in those volunteers who used cannabis in the evening after a long day of hard work. The performance of such people was clearly better the next day. In contrast, study participants who drank cannabis immediately after breakfast or at some point during the day performed worse rather than better.
