An official of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Ayaz Khan went missing from Islamabad after leaving his office at 2:30, the police said.
They said the police were informed about Ayaz Khan’s disappearance by his personal assistant. According to the police, all the security agencies have been informed about the incident. Khan’s brother-in-law Hasan filed a complaint in Aabpara police station today, saying that “the CDA official had gone to his office in Islamabad’s Sector G-6 yesterday and had not returned home. According to the application, Khan was in contact with his wife until 8pm and told her he will be home shortly”.
Earlier, Martyred Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Khan Dawar was abducted from Islamabad’s G-10/4 area. On Tuesday, pictures believed to be his dead body was started circulating on social media. Afghanistan government has confirmed the martyrdom of Superintendent Police (SP) Tahir Khan Dawar, Information Minister Khyebr Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Shaukat Yousufzai said in a statement. He laid to rest and funeral prayers were offered at the Malik Saad Shaheed Police Lines in Peshawar, as he was buried in Hayatabad graveyard late night. Peshawar Police presented the salute to the coffin of the martyred policeman.
