Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz on is scheduled to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday (July 31) to record her statement in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Maryam Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and Hasan Nawaz in Chaudhary Sugar Mill record tampering, money laundering and assets beyond means.
According to sources, all of the summoned individuals are shareholders of Chaudhary Sugar Mill. Sources said that the called-up members of Sharif family will be quizzed about remittances gained from the mill. Moreover, the accountability watchdog has also ordered Abbas Sharif’s son Abdul Aziz to appear in the bureau’s office on the same date in Lahore.
Sources added that the anti-graft body has instructed Maryam Nawaz and others to bring the record of all foreign remittances received from the sale of sugar manufactured at the Chaudhary Sugar Mill.
