Sardar Usman Buzdar, The Chief Minister of Punjab has warned of imposing a stern restrictions in view of the surge in COVID-19 cases across the province.
The CM Punjab said that the 3rd wave of COVID-19 is becoming disastrous and those not wearing masks are becoming a danger for others.
Usman Buzdar also said that the consistent increase in mortality rate and coronavirus cases is worrying and the government is considering over more measures to protect its citizens.
CM Buzdar said in a statement that “Citizens must have to follow the standard operation procedures (SOPs) in order to avoid restrictions.” If the situation worsens, we will tighten restrictions as the protection of citizens’ lives are our top priority.
He further added that pressure on the public health system is also rising due to increase in coronavirus cases.
He once again urged to the citizens to wear face masks and said that prevention measures are an effective way to cope with the COVID-19, He also asked citizens to support the government’s steps to stem the deadly coronavirus.
