Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar said that the number of COVID-19 patients increasing due to neglecting the standard operating procedures (SOPs).
CM Buzdar said, The active cases of COVID-19 in Punjab have surged to 2198 as 108 new infections were reported in past 24 hours, In last 24 hours, 12 more patients of the COVID-19 died in the Punjab and the overall death toll reached to 2310, Buzdar added
CM Punjab further stated that the number of COVID-19 patients was earlier declined to a larger extent but in 20 days of October the tally of infections and deaths have increased.
CM Usman Buzdar urged citizens to follow the precautionary measures in letter and spirit. The cooperation of citizens is necessary to avoid the 2nd wave of the coronavirus, He said
Usman Buzdar said that“It will be in the best interest of general public to continue following precautionary measures,” Adding that he said “They should maintain social distancing for protection of their own lives.
