According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan has said that it has recorded 80% cut in incoming international flights to Pakistan amid coronavirus pandemic that has already harmed, among other things, business activity worldwide.
As per to details, The CAA said it has also taken cognizance of the COVID-19 SOPs violation carried out by the airlines not keeping in check the social distancing conditions devised by the CAA.
It must be noted that CAA coronavirus related SOPs have conditioned that all narrow-body passenger aircraft shall only accommodate 80% of the total seats and keep 20% empty to ensure people are seated with a distance.
The CAA further said that in the wide-body planes only 70% people are permitted while 30% of the seating capacity will be duly kept empty for the same purpose.
There have been complaints on the COVID-19 SOPs violations of these conditions laid out to contain coronavirus, CAA said
