The National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC) has expressed concerns over the spike in COVID-19 cases and fatalities during the last 5 days.
Asad Umar, The head of NCOC and Planning Minister chaired a session of the NCOC where provincial chief secretaries and officials of the health ministry briefed the participants via video link regarding the government steps and coronavirus situation.
It was briefed that the rate of infections is consistently rising during the last 5 days beside a hike witnessed in fatality due to coronavirus.
It was told that an increase up to 40% in positive cases of COVID-19 was recorded during the last 4 days, whereas, the number of patients brought to different hospitals was also surged.
The rate of COVID-19 infections witnessed a quick spike in Karachi, Hyderabad, Azad Jammu Kashmir’s (AJK) Muzaffarabad, Gilgit.
