According to the sources, As the 3rd wave of COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc across Pakistan, Azad Kashmir also infested with coronavirus cases, rolled out a new set of restrictions of smart lockdown to contain the infection spread.
As per to details, The new notification issued by the authorities in Muzaffarabad stated that all educational institutes in the districts where the coronavirus positivity ratio is above 5% shall remain closed, added that the office timings across the Azad Kashmir region for government employees will be from 9 am to 2 pm
The newly issued notification further added that the all businesses and trade/shopping centers will remain close from 6pm until Sehri with an exception of pharmacies, gas stations, dairy shops, and tandoors, that will be exempt from the lockdown restrictions.
The people under 12 years of age and those above 60 years of age will be banned to enter any markets whatsoever.
It also stated that all the public, private parks and assembly places will be under lockdown and will remain shut.
