A five-member Czech parliamentary delegation led by Member of the Chamber of Deputies of Czech Parliament, Daniel Pawlas, is currently visiting Pakistan on the invitation of Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser. The visit of Czech parliamentarians would prove instrumental in fostering coordination and understanding between legislative bodies of the two countries. The Czech delegation will meet Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser and Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwalla in Islamabad today (June 24).
It will also hold meetings with Pakistan-Czech Parliamentary Friendship Group in the lower house and Prime Minister’s Advisor on Commerce and Textile Abdul Razak Dawood. The delegation will later proceed to Lahore. They will meet Punjab political hierarchy and key government functions besides meeting with the representatives of business and industry organizations.
Earlier Pakistan and Qatar signed three MOUs for cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, tourism and financial intelligence. Advisor on Commerce Abdul Razak Dawood and Qatari Finance Minister Ali Shareef Al Emadi signed the MoU for establishment of Pakistan-Qatar joint working group on trade and investment.
