Quinton de Kock, South Africa’s cricket team skipper is looking forward to touring Pakistan but is also worry of the hardships of one more bio-secure bubble.
Proteas are scheduled to arrive in mid-January and will play 2 Tests and 3 T20Is.
The skipper De Kock said that “There are two sides to it. I’m excited to get over there and play cricket in what will be a new challenge,”
De Kock said that “But the off-the-field stuff is another type of challenge. Bio-secure Bubble life is probably going to be the hardest challenge we will face out there,”
South Africa Cricket team were in a bio-secure bubble since limited over series against England and again were again shifted for the 2 Tests against Sri Lanka.
De Kock further added that “It’s very unsettling and a little nervy. It’s an accumulation of a lot of little things you are not used to plus the uncertainty of being caught in a lockdown, where you are then stuck in a place,”
It must be noted that South Africa defeated Sri Lanka in the 2nd Test at Johannesburg.
