The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided not to reduce the domestic cricket season due to code 19. The domestic season will start next month with the T20 Cup while the first-class season will start from the third week of October.
Director High-Performance Nadeem Khan said that they will try to conduct the entire domestic cricket season with precautionary measures. He said that players, match officials, and others are aware of their financial problems.
Nadeem Khan said that it was commendable that the government allowed sports activities and would soon implement a “back to cricket” policy. He said that the health of the people involved in cricket is a top priority and there will be no compromise on it. It is difficult to create a bio-secure environment but it is not possible to live without it.
Director High-Performance Nadeem Khan said that players are starting giving lectures to umpires, referees, managers, scorers and ground staff on precautionary measures and biosecure environment.
