Federal Minister Faisal Vawda on Wednesday (Dec 5) came forward and defended Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement that Pakistan Army supports all government decisions.
While speaking to a local news channel Mr. Vawda said that the “Prime Minister Imran Khan’s statement saying that Pakistan Army stands by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf could be a mere ‘slip of tongue’. “He had a slip of tongue,” Vawda said. While responding to a question regarding the State Minster for Overseas Pakistanis Zulfi Bukhari’s dual nationality, he said “Zulfi Bukhari has personally told me that he is ready to relinquish British citizenship if directed by the Chief Justice of Pakistan”.
Prime Minster Imran Khan on Monday (Dec 3) while interacted with a selective panel of senior journalists in Islamabad claimed that decisions of government has full support of Pakistan armed forces, adding that there is no single decision which doesn’t have support of Army.
