Parliamentary committee meeting on Kashmir has been convened on Monday (today) to discuss the situation in Kashmir.
The meeting will be held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Syed Fakhar Imam, chairman of the Kashmir Committee. The meeting is likely to pass a resolution that condemns Indian atrocities in held Kashmir and use of cluster ammunition against civilians along the line of control.
Officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will inform the committee about the current situation in occupied Kashmir.
On Sunday, Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC), decided to give an adequate response to any Indian aggression in the line of control.
On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan had said that Pakistan will always stand with Kashmiris.
