Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Tuesday (Dec 25) while addressing a press conference along with Senator Shibli Faraz and Minister of State for Revenue Muhammad Hammad Azhar in Islamabad. Heaily criticized the PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s alliance and termed it as ‘thugs of Pakistan’.
“An alliance between Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari should be named as ‘thugs of Pakistan’ adding that “Thugs of Pakistan” had a flop show today. He said that both Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardar established fake companies and together ran the “largest money laundering factory” in the world and both had formed a system of corruption under an agreement. “Both Sharif and Zardari claim that they are innocent but if they are all innocent then who has looted the country?” he asked.
Criticizing the opposition, Chaudhry said “They don’t talk about inflation, economy or other public issues.”
