Former Punjab Information Minister Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan has been given a new position in the Punjab government. According to details, outspoken Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan has been appointed as the spokesperson of Punjab government.
He is among the 38 spokespersons of Punjab government. He has been appointed upon the direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar. A notification of his appointment has also been issued.
List of newly appointed Spokespersons
Punjab Information Minister Samsam Bukhari said the Punjab government took the step on Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directives. According to the notification, the new appointees include Fayyaz-ul-Hassan Chohan, Faisal Hayat, Ahmad Chattha, Shaukat Basra, Ejaz Chaudhry, Omar Sarfaraz Cheema, Salman Shah, Hashim Dogar, Usman Saeed Basra, Dr. Zarqa and Ayesha Chaudhry.
Fayyazul Hassan Chohan came under fire after his anti-Hindu remarks, ruling PTI took strict action against him and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar accepted Fayyazul Hassan Chohan’s resignation from his post.
