Federal cabinet meeting under the supervision of Prime Minister Imran Khan will meet today ( Jan 17) to decide the removal of names of Pakistan peoples Party’s senior leadership including Bilawal Bhutto and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah from the Exit Control List (ECL). The cabinet will also discuss a 17-point agenda including country’s political, economic and energy situation.
The Supreme Court on Wednesday (Jan 16) in a detailed judgment, authored by Justice Ijazul Ahsan ordered for immediate removal of names of Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto and Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah from Exit Control List (ECL) and directed to transferred the JIT report and all the material collected by the team to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) immediately. The court directed the NAB to prepare the references and said “NAB can probe Bilawal and CM Shah independently. If after the investigation a reference can be formed, then it should be filed”.
