Finance Ministry by rejecting the request of a proposed hike in petroleum prices on Sunday (June 30) decided to keep the petroleum prices unchanged for the month of July.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Ministry, it has been decided to keep the petroleum prices unchanged. According to the notification the petrol will be sold at a rate of Rs112.68 per litre, diesel will be sold at Rs126.82 and Kerosene oil will be sold at Rs98.46 per litre.
The notification has stated that the petroleum division has proposed a hike of Rs2.30 in the price of high-speed diesel oil, Rs0.36 in the price of light diesel oil and an increase of Rs2.94 was proposed in the price of kerosene oil.
