Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi once again offering conditional talks to India has said that Pakistan has no objection over bilateral talks but it will be meaningless if woes of Kashmiris are neglected.
In his interview to a British media outlet, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that if India immediately lifts curfew from occupied Kashmir, restore their rights, set free Kashmiri leadership and allowed him to meet them then talks can be held. Shah Mahmood Qureshi said talks can not be held in an environment with the imposition of curfew when people are struggling for their life and death, where gang-raped is a norm and people are facing jails.
He categorically said that Pakistan never took an aggressive policy and we always preferred peace because two countries having atomic powers can’t take risk of a war adding that Pakistan doesn’t have an option of war which will bring disaster and the world itself affected with it.
The Minister clarified if war is imposed on Pakistan then it will be responded with February 27 like befitting manner adding that our army and nation are all prepared for war.
