Foreign Office of Pakistan on Wednesday (July 24) summoned Indian Deputy High Commissioner Gaurav Ahluwalia to lodge protest over the unprovoked ceasefire violations by Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC).
According to FO spokesperson Dr. Mohammad Faisal, the Indian HC has been summoned owing to the incidents of ceasefire violation that took place on July 22 and 23 at Bangsar sector. The spokesperson said that the Indian unprovoked firing martyred two civilians including a 12-year-old namely Mohammad Riyaz embraced and injured four others.
Foreign Office on Wednesday the Indian occupation forces along the Line of Control (LoC) on July 22 and 23. “The ceasefire violations by India are a threat to regional peace and security and may lead to a strategic miscalculation,” he told.
This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing from the year 2017 when the Indian forces committed 1970 ceasefire violations. Earlier, on July 3, at least five soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred and one was injured in an explosion near the Line of Control (LoC).
