Garmin has added two new models to its intriguing lineup of fitness watches.
The Garmin 945 LTE and Forerunner 55 smart watches are the newest entries to the smart watch sector, offering long battery life and improved user experience.
The Garmin Forerunner 55 is the more affordable of the two and is available in three different models. The watch has a built-in GPS and a long battery life, allowing it to last up to two weeks without position tracking or 20 hours with continuous tracking.
The watch contains capabilities for runners, such as stress monitoring, respiration rate tracking, and workout recovery time suggestions.
Garmin Forerunner 945 GPS is a top-of-the-line watch that also has LTE connectivity.
Consumers can download routes to keep on track using the watch’s built-in maps. The new Garmin 945 LTE smartwatch comes with various additional features, according to Garmin. The Pulse Ox sensor is one example, but there are also sensors for tracking menstrual cycles and pregnancy, as well as a slew of other capabilities that allow the user to keep track of how the human body works on a daily basis.
The Garmin 945 LTE smartwatch has the same two-week battery life as the Garmin 55 smartwatch, but the GPS mode lasts only seven hours with music and LTE LiveTrack activated.
The Garmin Forerunner 55 is available for $199 on the official Garmin website, while the Forerunner 945 LTE is on sale for $650.
