The general elections 2018 are just 23 days away. ACE News election cell is making first projections on the national assembly seats nationally. These are just preliminary projections and ACE News election cell will make changes according to situation. ACE News will make final projections one week before the elections.
Pakistan is clearly heading towards a hung parliament and split mandate. No party seems to get the majority to form the government.

141 seats of Punjab
PML-N is still the largest party in Punjab and leading on 68 seats. PTI is still behind with 51 seats. There are 18 seats which still can change hands. Both PML-N and PTI can increase some seats in their final tally or can lose some. The lead is so slim on these 18 seats that any major national or local development or change in the situation can change the result of these hotly contested seats. These seats are NA-53, 61, 62, 64, 67, 68,101, 102, 118, 137,154 162,165, 166, 167, 190, 193, 194.
61 seats of Sindh
PPP is still the most dominating force in Sindh and enjoying comfortable lead against opponents. The real interesting contest is taking place in Karachi where no political party is in the position to win the maximum seats.
16 seats of Baluchistan
Newly formed Baluchistan Awami Party (BAP) and recently revived religious alliance MMA is expected to win 4 seats each from Baluchistan. The seats will be split between different parties. BAP is expected to lead the coalition government consisting of MMA and BNP-Mengal after the elections. The Real contest in Baluch built is between MMA, BAP and BNP- M. In Pashtun belt the real contest is between PKMAP and MMA.
39 seats of KPK
There is general perception that PTI will sweep the July 25 general elections in KPK. But ground reality looks the opposite. PTI is facing tough competition from different political parties. PTI is still strong Peshawar district and expected to win most seats in this district. MMA is expected to make strong come back. ANP is also resurgent in some areas. PPP looks strong in Malakand division.
