German Ambassador to Pakistan, Martin Kobler has appreciated Prime Minister Imran Khan initiative to convert Prime Minister House into Islamabad National University. Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday (Dec 21) during a seminar titled “Emerging Challenges and Opportunities for Pakistan” inaugurated the Islamabad National University at the PM House in the capital.
The Ambassador took to Twitter saying, Great initiative of Prime Minister Imran Khan to have former PM House turned into research based Islamabad National University!”

Earlier, addressing a ceremony at the launch of University PM Imran said “When I made Shaukat Khanum, people asked me how would the poor be treated for free. I had faith that there will be a Centre of Excellence”. PM Imran continued, “Any society that has progressed it is because they focused on education and human development. If a small class of people makes money, then the country cannot progress.” “This was a revolution for the world that there is nothing higher than education.” He added, “The change came in me after my visit to Britain and looking at how the people lived there.”
