At the opening of trade, 10 grammes of 24k gold were sold at Rs97,050.
They exchanged 10 grammes of 22k gold for Rs88,963.
Silver yields, however, remained at Rs1,300/tola unchanged.
KARACHI: On Wednesday, January 27, a single tola of 24 karat gold was sold in Pakistan for Rs113,200 at the opening of the bullion market.
Similarly, at the beginning of trade, 10 grammes of 24k gold for Rs97,050 were sold.
Meanwhile, for Rs88,963, ten grammes of 22k gold were exchanged.
Bullion rates declined from $9 to $1,854/ounce on the foreign market as well.
Jewelers said that, compared to the Dubai gold market, the prices in the local market remained Rs1,000/tola lower.
Silver yields, however, remained at Rs1,300/tola unchanged. The 10 gramme silver rate was also the same at Rs1,114.54.
