Google Alphabet Inc. said on Saturday it launched a U.S focused website with advice and research on coronavirus, as the country is trying to slow the spread of the highly infectious virus.
The platform (google.com/covid19) will be accessible in more languages and countries in the coming days, consisting of tools and connections based on the potentially deadly respiratory disease COVID-19
Google’s chief executive Sundar Pichai said last Sunday in a blog post that the search engine was working with the U.S. government to create a website by March 16.
The launch was postponed, however, as local and national guidance moved dramatically from Sunday to Monday and the company had said it would carry out the website later this week.
