Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry announced that the government has decided to file a terrorism case against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah.
He was speaking to the media in Islamabad. No one would be able to intimidate government officials, he said, and the PML-N chief used extremist language.
He also mentioned the protests that are taking place across Pakistan. According to Chaudhry, the government and security forces have managed to keep the situation under control. He also cautioned that Pakistan is not a fragile state whose authority can be challenged.
Rana Sanaullah, the leader of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), said in March that the Long March would be fruitful even if the Pakistan Peoples Party is not present (PPP).
According to the specifics, in his speech today, he stated that alliances do not break up if one of the parties leaves; however, if one of the parties wishes to be split, the alliance will continue.
