After the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore in a letter written to federal government, requested to put Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president name on the Exit Control List (ECL), the incumbent government has decided to include Maryam Nawaz’s name on no-fly list.
According to details, the anti-graft watchdog has maintained that investigations against the PML-N leader are ongoing in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills (CSM) case and her name should be put on the ECL to eliminate the possibility of her going abroad.
On the other hand, the Lahore High Court (LHC) will hear Maryam Nawaz’s petition on removing her name from the Exit Control List (ECL) on January 15.
A two-member bench headed by Justice Tariq Abbasi will hear Maryam’s petition. Earlier, Maryam Nawaz, again moved the Lahore High Court (LHC) to remove her name from the Exit Control List (ECL) after her petition was declared inadmissible.
