Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that an action against the unnamed assets of the political leaders will commence from today (Tuesday). Talking to a private channel in a TV interview PM Imran made it clear that no leniency will be given to anyone and action to confiscate unnamed properties of the political leaders will start from today and a list has already been prepared in this regard.
He said, “Several political leaders have obtained properties on the names of their servants and such people will be dealt according to the law while such properties will be confiscated.” “The country was a victim of bad governance within the past ten years, however, the today’s Pakistan is entirely different from one of the past,” he added.
“We are under the burden of heavy foreign debts and the current stress on the dollar’s price is due to the closing,” he further added. “The government has formed a strategy to stop the smuggling of dollars,” said Imran. “Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) led federal government is working on an anti-smuggling program and will form laws to overcome over-invoicing issues,” he concluded.
Prime Minister Imran Khan made it clear that he would accept no pressure from anyone or anywhere to give an NRO-style amnesty to jailed politicians instead he proposed a plea bargain for returning the looted money to getting free and going abroad.
Imran Khan maintained that Asif Ali Zardari visited Dubai forty times as a President of Pakistan while Nawaz Sharif visited different countries costing 640 million rupees as Prime Minister of Pakistan. He said the price of Hassan Nawaz’s resident in London is 64 million pound.
