In a recent and good move to stop killing and animals’ torture, the Gujrat Police have registered a case against five persons for killing a dog. A postmortem examination was conducted on the animal and an investigation has also been started.
According to reports, government officer women lodged a case against the people who were involved in innocent killing of dog. The woman said that her dog started barking after seeing drug dealers and accused them of killing it.
Earlier a local court in Karachi directed the police department on January 8 to register a case against a woman who crushed a cat under her car. The case was filed by a citizen, Faiq Ali Jagirani, who argued that all over the world animal rights are protected. The police and courts should take measures to ensure that animals were protected, she added.
