A large number of PML-N workers reached the residence and clashed with police as they attempted to reach the gate of the house. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday (April 6) has once again reached Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif’s Model Town residence to arrest Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz for involvement in money laundering.
Contingents of police and anti-riot force have surrounded Shehbaz’s 96-H Model Town residence. PML-N Punjab spokesperson Malik Muhammad Ahmed confirmed that NAB teams have surrounded the party president’s house. According to sources, NAB Lahore will arrest Hamza Shehbaz today.
Hamza’s secretary, however, said, “We will not let Hamza get arrested at any cost.” “We have directed party workers to reach the residence and are ready for all circumstances. Hamza is not a terrorist that he be arrested like this. We will fight democratically,” he added.
