The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday (Dec 11) has granted bail to former President Asif Ali Zardari on Medical grounds, ACE News reported.
The former president was asked to submit surety bonds worth Rs 10 million in order to get bail, according to reports. Zardari was under National Accountability Bureau’s custody in a case pertaining to mega money laundering through fake bank accounts case.
Earlier according to medical sources, Asif Ali Zardari’s health is reportedly deteriorating day by day as he is suffering from heart and other diseases. As per reports, Zardari is finding it difficult to speak owing to heart problem as his fast heart rate is also creating problems for him to walk. His medical board is expected conduct a detailed examination today.
Doctors are likely to plan a cardiac procedure and change the medicine after the erstwhile president’s check-up. Earlier, the Islamabad High Court’s bench comprising of Chief Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Aamer Farooq on Wednesday (Dec 4) has ordered the Pakistan Institute of Management (PIMS) medical superintendent to determine the disease of former president Asif Zardari.
